Move on to making bowls, baskets, placemats and more with the same jelly roll strips! Learn to make the basic tubing used to make projects! CLASS FEE: $40 Students receive 15% off class supplies at Inspire! Supplies • Pattern-Jelly Roll Rug (required purchase) • Jelly roll tube maker • 40 count jelly roll • Roll of 2 ¼” wide batting • Thread for topstitching • 6-8 pre-wound bobbins • Pins and/or clips • Machine in good working order A dual feed or walking foot • Rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat • A box or basket to hold your tubing as you work • Standing paper towel holder to hold batting • Making Bowls? – Terial Magic fabric stiffener Prework before class- • Arrange your strips in the order you want your project, starting from the center going out. • Take a picture to remember the layout. • Sew the strips together end to end, like you were making quilt binding. Trim seams and press open. • Fan-fold the strips, with the center color on the bottom, ending with the outer color on top. Now you will be ready to make the tubing for your jelly roll rug! REMINDER: Class Cancellation Policy is one week in advance to receive a refund otherwise you will receive a store credit. If you cancel or do not show on the day of class, there will be NO REFUND OR STORE CREDIT since we must compensate our teachers. Also, if you are the first person to sign up for a class you need to check back before pur-chasing your supplies to make sure the class is a go.
