Brother's embroidery machine offers a generous 8" x 12" embroidery area, capable of 100 built-in embroidery designs, 18 monogramming font styles, 140 frame pattern combinations, 50 lettering fonts, 50 built-in utility stitch designs, and 10 buttonhole styles in 3 sizes. With all these options, you'll find inspiration for new designs or upcycling existing projects. 6 Needle Automatic Needle Threader With six needles and 1000 stitches per minute, you'll value how quickly you can embroider large, multi-colored designs. The machine even has an automatic needle threader, so you can thread any of the six needles in seconds, all with the touch of a button. You can even thread needles without a design on the screen for added efficiency. Each needle offers customizable settings for speed, color lock, and the disengagement of the automatic needle threader, which is useful when using a thin needle! At the same time, thread tension range expansion creates a wide range of tension settings, making it easier to embroider on difficult fabrics with correct tension without distorting or puckering the fabric. LED LIGHTING LED Lighting The Brother PR680W is equipped with built-in LED lighting that significantly enhances the embroidery experience by providing bright, shadow-free illumination directly onto the workspace. This feature is particularly beneficial when working on intricate designs or using darker fabrics, where precision is crucial. The adjustable lighting ensures that every stitch is visible, reducing eye strain and helping to maintain accuracy throughout the embroidery process. Customize the light brightness between five settings, including ‘Off’ mode, to find your ideal level. The four LED lights are strategically placed around the needle area, ensuring even coverage and allowing users to work comfortably for extended periods, regardless of the surrounding lighting conditions. Automatic Basting Before embroidering, basting stitches can be embroidered along the outline of the pattern. Basting is useful for embroidering fabric that cannot have stabilizer material affixed with an iron or adhesive. Stitching stabilizer material to the fabric can minimize shrinkage of the stitching or misaligned patterns. Finish combining and editing the pattern before selecting the basting setting. If the pattern is edited after selecting the basting setting, the design may become misaligned, and the basting under the pattern may be difficult to remove after the embroidering is complete. Laser Crosshair Embroidery Droplight Laser When placement is vital, Brother's Crosshair Embroidery Droplight Laser is a lifesaver. Get precision accuracy positioning and light up your fabric to see where the needle will drop for all your projects with the Crosshair Embroidery Droplight Laser. The droplight laser is accurate to +/- 0.5 mm from needle drop with materials up to 1 mm thick. WLAN Connectivity When connected to your wireless network, you can send designs from your PC to the PR680W with Design Database Transfer and get alerts when it's time to change thread or when your project is complete with the My Stitch Monitor App. With wireless LAN connectivity and PE-DESIGN 11 software (sold separately), you can link as many as ten machines without a cable. You can also get machine updates automatically. If you choose not to use the wireless option, the PR680W has three USB ports. One for high-speed design transfers, a second port for machine peripherals, and a third port for computer connectivity. Design Database Transfer Design Database Transfer Managing your embroidery designs has never been easier! Download Design Database Transfer, a FREE data management tool, to easily view embroidery designs in your library and transfer designs wirelessly to your PR680W with a WiFi connection. This software allows you to easily move .pes, .phc, .phx, and .dst files to your machine while also organizing your design library. You can create new folders, transfer/copy files to new locations, change file names, or delete files you no longer need. Quickly search for an embroidery design by title, format, stitch count, size, etc. Review embroidery design info such as size, estimated sewing time, and number of colors.
